Rare 1980 Cabriolet Cadillac Convertible!

Rivermont Collegiate Auction 1995 - Tim Wilkinson, an Alcoa emissary donated a 1980 white Cadillac Cabriolet Convertible to Rivermont for its annual fundraiser. With only 20,000 miles it was purchased by Tom Waterman for his dad, Bob, as the perfect beach car for his winter home in Naples, Florida. Upon Bob's death the car again found its way back to Rivermont to be purchased by Steve Pray for his father-in-law, Mel Foster, as a remembrance of the friendship between Mel and Bob. The classic is back! With only 46,000 miles on it the rare convertible will once again make an appearance at this year's fundraiser to be held May 1, 2010 at Crow Valley Golf Club. The car will be available for viewing at Rivermont (dates to be announced) as well as the night of the event.
This car is a classic and difficult to find! One was recently sold on EBay for $18,500!
This is an opportunity not to be missed!

Dinner! Silent Auction! Live Auction! It’s A Party! On May 1, 2010 Rivermont will host its annual
Dinner/Auction. This annual event celebrates Rivermont’s historic tradition of providing a unique educational
opportunity for students living in the Quad Cities and surrounding communities.
Whether you are a long time friend of the school or new to our community we invite you to share the success
of the evening and help to continue to make a Rivemont education dynamic, affordable, and accessible to the
children of the Quad Cities. This can be accomplished in several ways. Here, you will find links to donation forms
providing the opportunity to
donate an auction item or become an auction sponsor. These tax deductible contributions
present an excellent opportunity to showcase your service or product. You will enjoy exposure to an
audience eager to return the favor of your support!
Rivermont Collegiate is a preschool through 12th grade college preparatory school, which works diligently to
reflect the social, ethnic, racial, religious, and economic diversity of the Quad City community. Students at
Rivermont score an average of two years above grade level on the Iowa Test of Basic Skills with a median
score above the 90th percentile. For the fourth year Rivermont has been awarded the highest level on the
AP Index Ranking from the Belin-Blank Center for the State of Iowa. Dedicated to community service, this
year Rivermont students collected an average of nearly 400 pounds of food per student for the Quad Cities
annual Student Hunger Drive. 100% of Rivermont Collegiate graduating seniors are accepted to 4-year colleges
and universities.
