Rivermont Academic Invitational is an academic competition developed for students from all around the Quad-Cities area. The Rivermont Academic Invitational strives to provide an organized local academic team competition incorporating meaningful real-life situations and experiences with team building, creativity, global thinking and leadership skills through utilizing each team’s spectrum of learning styles resulting in a life long learning opportunity and empowering our youth for the future.

Registration deadline is late January. Official registration brochures will be sent out in November. The cost is $35.00 per team. A team consists of 4 students and 1 adult chaperone. Only 2 teams may enter per school. If space is available after January 15th, we will notify schools that are interested and they may enter up to 2 more teams.
Preparing for this type of competition will vary upon the school. All academic areas, as well as, global issues and current events will be covered. Areas of focus for the competition are engineering/math, science, geography, global awareness, literature, and current events. Most activities will be hands-on experiences. 11:30-12:00 – Lunch (Lunch will be provided)
12:00-2:00 – Competition
2:15-2:30 – Awards Ceremony
